Setting out on a sailing trip in your own boat (or even a chartered one) into unknown waters, or perhaps wanting to do a trip of greater distance and duration than you are used to, can be stressful and un-nerving. Or you may need for your boat to be located away from its home port, or perhaps returned there after a trip. The problem could be a question of confidence in your own abilities, or the lack of suitably experienced crew, or ‘fear of the unknown’, or a combination of all three. It may even be the case that you simply don't have the time to move the boat yourself.
