Chartering Stream means you can enjoy sailing – no matter how little experience you have - for a weekend, a week, or longer. You can either sit back and relax, or benefit from some practical, hands-on sail training from our friendly skipper. Whatever your choice, you can look forward to a rewarding, enjoyable experience.

Stream is a spacious and comfortable sailing yacht, with every possible luxury for cruising in style. There is a maximum of four persons only per charter, plus the skipper, to ensure good levels of comfort and safety. She is based at the award-winning Mayflower Marina in Plymouth. The skipper is Michael Selway, a qualified Yachtmaster® Offshore with over 25 years’ sailing experience. You will be on a good boat and in the safe hands of a personable and patient professional.

If you wish, during the charter you can receive informal, individual tuition in sailing, boat handling, navigation and seamanship. You can build as much experience and sea miles (for RYA qualifications) as you wish. Whatever your ability, the accent is on building confidence and expertise in your sailing and, importantly, enjoyment of superb surroundings. You will sail some of the best cruising areas in the world – the rivers and coastline of south Devon and Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and even the Channel Islands and north Brittany - all areas of outstanding natural beauty. The exact cruising itinerary is up to you and guidance can be given if you don’t know the area. The amount of time spent ashore in some fascinating, historic coastal towns and villages is also your decision.
